CALL FOR PAPERS

AMERICAN STUDIES:

INTERDISCIPLINARY PERSPECTIVES ON ETHNICITY, RACE, AND GENDER

March 6 -7, 2003

Bogaziçi University American Studies Program in collaboration with the American Press and Culture Center invites proposals for papers in the field of ethnicity, race, and gender in all disciplines and interdisciplinary areas, including the arts, literature, history, and social sciences. The conference will create a lively forum for the discussion of issues related to the above-mentioned themes as well as their intersections.

Those who wish to attend the conference without a paper must fill the attached Registration Form and send it to the address given on the form by February 3, 2003.

Those who wish to present a paper must submit one-full-page, or 250-word, proposal by January 6, 2003.
